PaCCS (Pathways Clinical Consultation Support Tool) Training

Introduction

PaCCS (Pathways Clinical Consultation Support Tool) is a triage tool, built by NHS Pathways that will enable you to direct patients to external services from the system CAS digitally.

PACCS will allow you to refer your patient digitally directly to the Ambulance Service

  1. Ambulance Service

Digital Referrals to the following services:

  • Emergency Departments (Weston, BRI, NBT)
  • UTC (South Bristol community hospital)
  • MIU’s (Yate/ Clevedon)
Can be arranged by using the 'Agency referral ' button on CLEO instead.

PACCS can be used for referrals to General practice via GP Connect.

Training for PaCCs is hosted here https://www.dls.nhs.uk/Home

Access

Please email digital@brisdoc.org or complete an IT Support Form https://brisdoc.co.uk/itsupport/ to request access.

You will be emailed a link where you can login.

Password Reset

  • You can reset your own password via the link on the logon page

Course Details

Please complete the PaCCs course- select “R33” during the course

End of Training Test

Press test yourself button and click radio button to complete the course.

  • There is a known issue with the radio button in CHROME where it cant be pressed. It has been logged with the DLS helpdesk.
